19th Sebmun: YESSSSS!!! I did it!! I knew I would find a ship. It was just a matter of looking for the right one! Okay, so maybe it doesn’t actually float at the moment, but it will in a few months after a few repairs here and there. It just needs a new hull, new decks, new mast, new ballista, new sails, new crew and needs to be stocked from scratch, plus there seem to be a few legal issues to be resolved, but by the keel is sound and that’s what is important! She is going to be amazing! Best of all, it’s going to have me! 8th Oxmun or thereabouts: Today we sailed into Minrothad City as passengers to complete one of three tasks that will resolve those legal issues I mentioned earlier. Believe it or not somehow we managed to expose a Black Eagle Barony slaver ship and saved more than a hundred people. It’s amazing what can be accomplished by asking the right questions and talking to the right people. It helps that our captain is a Guilder. I really need to see about joining one of these days. I wonder what I need to do to get in. Plus, before the night was out, we’d rescued a merchant from a rival guild and played bowling for halflings. It’s a nifty little game where you get a dozen or so of the little guys really riled up and have them chase your crew down a maze of alleyways until you drop a bunch of crates in their way and see how many you can take out. I think I got 6 and Eckhart got 5. Those are jsut estimates, since we didn’t really stay to count. They are really good with those rocks of their’s plus a few had crossbows. 16th? Oxmun: What can I say, I’ve never been exact on the date. but since this is for me, as long as I can get in the right area, then I think history will forgive me. I certainly would! We returned to the harbor at Seahome where our ship is being repaired and sold off a huge amount of goods. I swear I’ve never seen so much money in my life!! there was so much that they had to pay us in PLATINUM! 18th? Oxmun: Today is somewhat anti-climactic. We went to our storage room in the drydock to get the money to pay for a few weeks repairs on the old girl and found that we’d been robbed. The entire room was empty. Oh well, atleast this way it’s not only easy to clean, but there will be plenty of room to put new stuff in it. The guys have an idea whose behind it and we’ll start looking into it over the next few days. In the meantime I’ve got a great place to brush up on my skills. I hate doing it where people can watch me.
